Prose Primer
Most people who write a lot never learned grammar’s vocabulary. They can feel that a sentence is clunky, but can’t say why. Prose Primer teaches that vocabulary on the text you’re actually reading or writing.

The young writer quietly finds the rhythm of her sentences in the morning.
A sentence, marked in colored pencil. Illustration in the app’s own part-of-speech colors, not a screen capture.
It’s a learning tool (what is a gerund?), an exploration tool (what’s going on in this paragraph?), and a writing tool (how could this sentence be built differently?).
It succeeds when a writer can name what’s happening in a sentence they wrote, and then decide whether to keep it.
